What Is The 4-Day Medical Detox While Under Sedation?

When people research the best way to rid themselves of their opiate addiction, they often think that the withdrawal process can take weeks, if not months. They are therefore a little shocked to learn that complete detoxification from opiates can be achieved in as little as four days!

We understand it’s an investment to go through our 4-day rapid opiate detox program, but we also understand the real financial cost of addiction. If you have a $100.00 a day habit, that’s $36,000.00 each year. If you have a $200.00 a day habit, that’s $72,000.00 each year. We know you’re not even doing it to get high, you’re simply using not to get sick.

Now is the time to make YOURSELF a PRIORITY, and SAVE YOUR LIFE! Please take the first step and Call Us now at (800) 603-1813.

We feel strongly that the 4-Day Opiate Detox we have perfected at Advanced Medical Detox is the best way to end your opiate dependency and to regain control of your life. We are grateful for the many thousands of people have come to us for treatment, who are now free from their struggle with opiates. It’s easier than you think, you can sleep through your withdrawals.

Medical Opiate Detox Under Sedation

dr. julia aharonov

Dr. Julia Aharonov, a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist & Addiction Medicine Physician, has perfected Opiate Reversal – The Advanced Medical Opiate Detox Under Sedation protocol. Her proven procedure safely reverses all opiates/opioids from the receptors. Patients are placed under IV sedation allowing them to sleep through their withdrawals while the doctor uses medication to reverse the opiates from the receptors. As a result, they do not have the intense pain that is normally associated with most cold turkey withdrawals.

It’s a four day process; Day One, you’re interviewed, tested and admitted. Day Two, you’re placed under light sedation using the anesthesia assisted medical opiate detoxification process, where medications are used to reverse the opiates from your brain’s receptors, as you sleep through your withdrawals. Day Three & Four, you rest and recuperate in your private room with 24-hour medical care. This means that you will simply not experience all those unpleasant side effects that you would if you quit ‘cold turkey’.

Everybody asks if it is “too good to be true” and while it seems miraculous… it really is true. If you are a candidate for the procedure, we can rid your body of all the opiates and give you either the daily oral Naltrexone tablets, or the monthly Vivitrol® injection so that you have no cravings, leaving you free of your dependency and having the chance to enjoy your new, opiate-free life.

Timeline

Arrive

DAY 1

  • Patient completes all intake paperwork, lab work, physical exam, meets with the therapist, and then case-planning meeting with Dr. Aharonov.

  • During the meeting, the patient can choose to receive either daily oral Naltrexone tablets or choose to private pay for the Vivitrol injection—which lasts for 28 days.

  • Next, the patient is taken to their private room which includes a private bathroom, flat screen TV, and WIFI. All meals are included.

  • During their stay at Advanced Rapid Detox, the patient keeps their cell phone.

  • Smoking and vaping are not allowed in or around the facility. We suggest patients wear a nicotine patch.

  • We do not want the patient in withdrawals, so they are encouraged to continue their medication until midnight.
Detox

DAY 2

  • The patient has their Opiate Reversal Procedure in the ICU, where they remain for approximately 24 hours.

  • Their opiate reversal procedure is performed by Dr. Julia Aharonov, an Award-Winning, Board-Certified Anesthesiologist & Addiction Medicine Specialist.

  • While under IV sedation, medications are used to reverse the opiates from the brain's receptors, returning them to their "pre-addiction" state. Patients are NOT intubated or catheterized.

  • After the opiate reversal, the patient is provided with the daily oral Naltrexone tablets, or the FDA Approved Vivitrol® injection.

  • Both the tablets and the injection, block the effects of opioids and eliminate cravings. It should be noted that the Vivitrol® injection eliminates the opiate cravings for 28 days, is not addictive and can be given immediately after this procedure—avoiding the usual 7-14 day period if a patient were to detox themselves. The oral tablets stop cravings for 24 hours, and must be taken daily.
Rest

DAY 3

  • Patient rests and recuperates in their private room (with 24-hour medical care.)

  • If they experience any post-acute withdrawals (restless legs, chills, etc.) they are given transitionary, non-addictive medications for a few days until the symptoms pass.

  • The same medications will be called into patient's home pharmacy.

  • If approved by the doctor and for an additional fee, patients can request an IV Ketamine infusion.

  • Ketamine therapy is considered the finding of the decade for unresolved pain, depression, and PTSD.
Go home

DAY 4

  • Once discharged by Dr. Aharonov, the patient is free to go home.

  • If an additional overnight stay is desired, this can be arranged for an additional fee.

  • After discharge, the patient is eligible for our detox-related aftercare program.

  • With Advanced Rapid Detox, you truly have the best care as you restart your life.

4 Day Opiate Detox

Your journey towards being free of opiate dependency begins at Advanced Medical Detox medical facility.

We provide you with a caregiver, providing 24-hour medical monitoring while you're in our care. Our team of medical professionals are all expertly trained in the opiate detoxification process.

Once your detox procedure has been completed, you'll be moved into your private room for the remainder of your stay. You'll receive your first daily oral Naltrexone tablet. Or choose (at extra cost) to receive the convenient Vivitrol® injection instead. Both the oral tablet and the injection, are opiate-blockers that eliminate cravings.

After you leave our detox facility and return home you should continue to take your daily oral Naltrexone tablet, or get the Vivitrol® shot each month—for a year. It's important to note that Vivitrol® and Naltrexone are not opiates, they just eliminate cravings and are not addictive like Suboxone or Methadone. If you decide not to get the injection you can always get daily oral Naltrexone tablets. This is the best way to keep yourself free of cravings.
